PEMA Plastic Mfg. Corp. was founded in 1976 by Joseph K. Mancilla who first started in
recycling plastic scrap.
During this time, the technology wasn't that improvised until the later
following years which the company foresaw and then sought the advantage
of the trading business. With the growth of plastic industries and
the demand of its applications, PEMA has since been expanding its wide
network of business from manufacturing of local recycled pellets to importing
of polypropylene and polyethylene resins from foreign
petrochemical companies in the USA, Singapore, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Thailand,
Japan, etc. PEMA is now directly importing raw materials resins like LADENE,
MARLEX, POLENE, EQUATE, SEETEC, PETLIN, PROPELINAS, UBE, HIVOREX, QAMAIR, TAISOX, etc. to
name a few, and distributed to different local consumers
or manufacturers to meet their specific demands. The Company also have
been exporting local recycled LDPE pellets to other Asian countries
namely HongKong, China, Taiwan, and South Africa.
The competitive economy is seen with the recent establishment of JG Petrochemical Corp.,
a local petrochemical plant that was put up in Batangas, Philippines. The company manufactures
local PP/PE Evalene resins supplied to local plastics industry. PEMA
has marked another record by becoming one of a few companies to be authorized
as a distributor of Evalene resins.
Through our best accomodating service, PEMA still stands against the test of the business
edge and demands.
